It’s hard to believe that it’s almost Easter, but it will be here before you know it. We found some festive events that are happening in the Portland region for you to enjoy on your own, with friends, or with your family.
What better way to celebrate the beginning of spring than by walking through 40 acres of gorgeous, colorful tulips. The 2019 Annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival runs from March 23 through April 29 in Woodburn, Oregon.
Bring your family, your dog (on a leash), and your camera for a fun day-trip. The fields are less busy during the week but there are extra activities happening on the weekend.

Grab some food from the onsite vendors including Mt. Angel Sausage Company, Loco Ono BBQ, and Alotta Wood Fired Pizza.
If you are a gardener or just like fresh flowers, visit the Tulip Market. You can pre-order bulbs before attending the festival and pick them up during your visit.

If you have small children, there are several opportunities for them to hunt for Easter eggs in the Portland area.
Hit up the 56th free annual Alpenrose Dairy Easter Egg Hunt if you have young children. The day starts at 10:30 a.m. for kids ages 3-5 and 12:30 p.m. for ages 6-8. Kids can also get their faces painted by local girl scouts.
Take a picture with the Easter bunny and play games at The Hippity Hop Bunny Hop Through the Pearl from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Adults can partake in an interactive scavenger hunt and win prizes from a raffle.
Hunt for a Pix Patisserie gift certificate at Pix on April 21 at 1:30 p.m. during their 2019 Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza. One egg per person, all ages.
If you are willing to brave the crowds on Easter Sunday, you will get to enjoy a delicious brunch at Timberline Lodge. It’s $70 per adult and $28 per kid for a multi-course brunch and dessert buffet. After you eat, take your kids to meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs.
