Timberline to Town Trail

By Kelsey Samsel | Things To Do

A great way to see the Mt. Hood National Forest is by mountain biking some of the local trails. The Timberline to Town Trail is about 15 miles long and takes you from the Timberline Lodge ski area, through the forest with mountain views, including parts of the Oregon Trail, and ends in Rhododendron.

Pro Tip: Park in Rhododendron and take the Mt. Hood Express Shuttle for $2 per trip or $5 per day to get to Timberline Lodge. Check out Travel Oregon for a detailed description of how to follow the trail and some Oregon Trail history.
