Munra Point

By Kelsey Samsel | Hiking

The hike to Munra Point is challenging and not for the faint of heart. The best access point for this trail is at the Wahclella Falls parking lot. There’s a small “unmarked trail” sign a few hundred yard south before you hit Moffet Creek that will take to you trail #400.

The trail starts off pretty easy but gets harder and harder as you go along. You will have to scramble up some rocks on a few parts of this trail as you get closer to the top.

This hike is currently closed and unmaintained due to the 2017 Eagle Creek forest fire but some people are still hiking it. If you do decide to attempt it, be aware that the trail is pretty overgrown and more difficult than usual to traverse.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • This trail is about 6.5 miles out and back from the Wahclella Falls Parking Lot
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
  • Dogs are allowed on this trail with a leash
