Christmas Tree Hunting on Mt. Hood

By Kelsey Samsel | Things To Do

Elk Meadows Trailhead in the Mt. Hood National Forest will give you access to multiple trails, ranging from moderate to difficult. From the trailhead, you can hike up to Elk Mountain, Tamanawas Falls, and Umbrella Falls, just to name a few. Click here for a list of trails the Elk Meadows Trailhead leads to.

In the summer, the trail is lined with wildflowers and in the fall, you will find huckleberries.
