Timberline Trail

By Kelsey Samsel | Hiking

Timberline Trail is a difficult hike in the Mt. Hood National Forest. During your trek you will see incredible views of the mountain, Ramona Falls, and part of the Pacific Crest Trail. The whole trail is about 40 miles and takes you through several drastic changes in elevation.

This is a great trail for backpacking and camping. Be prepared to cross over several rivers while on Timberline Trail. Water levels change depending on the time of year. Backpackers usually hike the Timberline trail in 3-5 days.
